Website: http://www.circletreatment.com
Description: Circle Treatment Center has been offering intensive outpatient rehabilitation programs for addicted clients since 1985. Our success has been based on the realization that clients make the best progress when they remain in a familiar environment and on the job. Being at home allows our clients to continue to work and to involve their families in their recovery. It provides ongoing support and proves to be both effective and highly economical. Over the years, hundreds of our clients have rebuilt their lives and resumed their places in the community as active participants. We have maintained our original philosophy of small groups and personal care so as to provide each client with the support and attention that only individualized care can offer. In recent years, we have expanded our programs beyond the addictions to include counseling services for problems of daily living. There are moments in our lives when problems seem to become overwhelming. That is when counseling can make a difference and help you get back on track.

Kolmac Clinic
Location: Gaithersburg, MD - 20877
Contact Phone: (301) 330-7696
Website: http://www.kolmac.com
Description: The Kolmac Clinic provides outpatient rehabilitation and treatment programs for adults with alcohol, drug, and other substance abuse problems. Because Kolmac is an outpatient treatment center, patients can receive rehab help without taking leave from work or family responsibilities. At Kolmac, as at other substance abuse treatment and detox centers, drug addiction treatment and alcohol treatment are no longer considered separately. Patients with problems in one or both areas are treated together. The term "substance abuse treatment" has been used at times, although the stigmatizing implications of the word "abuse" has led to a search for a preferable term such as "substance use disorders." The heart of our drug and alcohol treatment program is the participation of patients in the rehabilitation and continued care phases of our program. Detoxification is required for approximately 14% of our patients with alcohol disorders and 85% of those with opioid disorders. Kolmac substance abuse treatment facility has pioneered in outpatient detoxification from drugs and alcohol, allowing patients with severe physical addiction to avoid hospitalization. Since 2003, the availability of buprenorphine has dramatically reduced the discomfort of detoxification from prescription pain pills and heroin. Although we do not have any "magic bullets," new medications have helped reduce the frequency of relapses and improved the odds for recovery for those seeking outpatient drug rehab services. An added benefit is that these medications have minimal side effects. For treating alcohol dependence and withdrawal, acamprosate (Campral) and naltrexone (Revia, Vivitrol) have been useful. For drug addiction rehabilitation, using buprenorphine for a period of time beyond detoxification has helped to stabilize patients with opioid addiction. We have become one of the best known, leading substance abuse treatment facilities in the Baltimore and Washington, DC metro areas - including Maryland and Virginia by advancing the use of buprenorphine as a stabilizing agent for patients addicted to opioids. Our medical staff continuously monitors the safety and effectiveness of new medications to determine which ones to make available to our patients. The Gaithersburg, Maryland office of the Kolmac Clinic was the third Kolmac location to open. It has provided alcohol and drug rehabilitation to the community since 1988. Services provided at this location include, intensive outpatient alcohol and drug treatment, continuing care and family services. The intensive outpatient treatment sessions are held weekdays, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The continuing care and family group schedules vary, so please check with us for the current schedule.
