We envision a healthy community of people who can access and benefit from state of the art integrated health care which results in an enhanced quality of life for all. We provide a full range of quality outpatient programs and services for individuals, children, families and businesses in our communities. The Guidance Center is licensed by the State of Kansas to provide outpatient treatment services, including alcohol and drug evaluation, treatment, education and relapse prevention for adults and adolescents. An initial assessment is administered to all individuals seeking treatment in order to determine the appropriate level of care. Individuals are admitted to Recovery Services or, if more intensive treatment is indicated, are referred to the appropriate treatment facility. Treatment could include individual or group treatment, or therapy with an appropriate clinician. In addition, participation in specialized groups may also be recommended. |

Va Eastern Kansas Health Care System - Addictions Treatment (leavenworth) Location: Leavenworth, KS - 66048 Contact Phone: (913) 682-2000 Website: http://www.topeka.va.gov/ Description: An Intensive Treatment Program by definition is a minimum of three days per week, three hours per day, and three weeks. Aftercare is group treatment provided following an intensive program either in our facility or another VA facility and is not time limited in either the number of days of treatment or the number of hours per day. Essentially, Aftercare is provided as a means of ongoing supportive treatment and therapy for those seeking look term sobriety and needing a structured facility. The PART Program is a dual-disorder program; thus, veterans who participate in this program have a primary psychiatric diagnosis (e.g. Schizophrenia or other thought disorders, mood disorders including Major Depression and Bipolar, PTSD or other anxiety related disorders, etc.) and a secondary substance use disorder. The PART program is a 25-bed, 6-week residential program. Treatment focuses on management of psychiatric sequel, remediation of coping skills and techniques, and review of relapse prevention strategies. |
