The Walker Center's Twin Falls outpatient addiction treatment program serves people in the Magic Valley with drug and alcohol problems in both English and Spanish. The outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program in Twin Falls, Idaho provides assessments, individual/group counseling sessions and intensive outpatient programs in a nurturing, supportive environment. The Walker Center offers a bilingual treatment group that focuses on life-long recovery from alcohol and drugs with a specific emphasis on the cultural and language specific needs of the clients, especially cultural adjustment and the exploration of cultural beliefs as they relate to alcohol and drug usage and life long recovery. The treatment is based on the Matrix Institute Model with all materials being written in Spanish including the educational materials, Matrix curriculum and 12-Step literature. The counselor documents the treatment plan in both Spanish and English to facilitate treatment, client understanding and funding requirements. This treatment includes individual sessions. |
