(HCEC) has been providing a full range of counseling, education and training services since 1985. HCEC staff are approved providers for most of Hawaii's private health insurance carriers and are available to see clients by appointment seven days a week. The staff facilitates community workshops and anger management, domestic violence and youth restorative justice groups. It currently holds or has held contracts with the Hawaii State Judiciary, City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii State Departments of Education, Health and Public Safety and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. |

We are committed to providing cost effective quality service to our consumers in a community based setting. Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team includes paraprofessionals, certified substance abuse counselors and other licensed professionals. The mission of Po'ailani, Inc. is to provide dual diagnosis treatment and housing services in a continuum of care that is community-based and consumer-focused. The 16 bed residential program is licensed as a special treatment facility (STF) by the State Department of Health. A planned regimen of professionally directed services are provided 24 hours per day/7days per week. There are two different locations both with 16 bed male/female. Services include individual and group counseling sessions, education, medication management, skill building, recreational therapy and family services. |

Kalihi Ymca Outreach Services - Adolescent School-based Services (kailua High School) Location: Kailua, HI - 96734 Contact Phone: (808) 848-2494 Website: http://www.kalihi-ymca.org Description: Through funding received from the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD), the Kalihi YMCA Outreach Services provides a school-based substance abuse treatment program. Services are provided to youth attending the following high schools and middle schools: Kailua, Kaimuki, Roosevelt, McKinley, Farrington, Aiea, Moanalua, Waipahu, Campbell, Leilehua, Waialua, Kapolei, Nanakuli and Waianae High Schools; and Ilima, Waialua, Wahiawa, Jarrett, Dole, Central, Kalakaua, Kawananakoa, Stevenson, Aiea, Moanalua, Kapolei, Waipahu and Nanakuli Middle Schools. Youth participate in outpatient substance abuse treatment services. Participants receive between one (1) and eight (8) hours of direct service each week. Youth enrollment is voluntary and services are available to youth who are willing to acknowledge and address the problems they experience that are related to their use of alcohol and other drugs. The program goals are abstinence, learning life skills and developing an awareness of how substance use affects their lives. Services include individual/group sessions focusing on substance abuse education, social and life skills, relapse prevention and recreational activities. Counselors conduct follow-up contacts to determine youth's progress at 3 and 6 months after discharge from the program. |
