Description: Tri-County Human Services, Inc. provides adolescent (children ages 10 – 18) outpatient Substance Abuse and Co-occurring services at locations in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Avon Park and Wauchula and Mental Health (children age 4 – 18) services at Avon Park. The outpatient clinics provide a wide range of behavioral health services including assessment, medical services (Lakeland & Avon Park), case management, Targeted case management (Avon Park), individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, education groups, family counseling, aftercare services, drug screening by urinalysis, and referral for adjunctive and aftercare services as clinically indicated. Length of stays in outpatient services range from three to nine months. Individualized treatment plans are developed with each adolescent with input from the child’s parent/guardian. Parental participation in all aspects of treatment is encouraged.
