Description: Farrell Treatment Center is a nonprofit substance abuse treatment facility licensed by the State of Connecticut. We are a recovery oriented system of care and with a focus on the individual. Our programs are designed to assist our clients in finding solutions, strength and hope. We know that all of our clients having different needs and goals; therefore, we designed our treatment programs to incorporate a variety of approaches; 12 steps facilitation, mindfulness, relapse prevention, family involvement and neurobiological interventions are a sample of treatment modalities. Our staff are dedicated to helping others achieve a healthy, substance free lifestyle by providing a non judgmental atmosphere of respect and dignity. Intensive Outpatient Program – this is designed for clients living in the community; yet need the structure and support of others when 12 step programs are not enough. IOP meets three days a week, three hours a day and client can be evaluated by our psychiatrist. Right now, we offer a day and evening programs. IOP is co-ed.

Description: LLSA is funded by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to provide culturally appropriate addiction services to Latina/o clients residing in the New Britain area. Staffed completely by bicultural clinicians, this outpatient program provides services to clients 18 and older who are dealing with serious substance abuse problems. Staff utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, and trauma sensitive services to assist clients in their recovery. Clients and clinicians develop treatment and recovery goals, which are achieved through group, individual and family modalities. Staff is trained in the treatment of substance abuse disorders and is fully bilingual, and all staff is supervised by a Licensed Clinician. Services are provided within the context of a larger service system, so that referrals for other needed services can be facilitated.

Description: LifeLine for women and children is a substance abuse/mental health treatment program for women ages 16 years and older and is designed to treat and support women experiencing substance abuse and psychiatric disorders as they progress through their recovery. LifeLine specializes in treatment that empowers women to make positive choices for themselves and their children and to develop competence in all aspects of family life. Team members are specialists in substance abuse; psychiatric treatment, child development, community adjustment and gender-responsive, trauma-infomed care. The program also provides intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care and includes transportation within New Britain, babysitting for pre-school-aged children and case management.
