Description: For more than three decades, Project Ninety, Inc. has served individuals, families and the Bay Area community through its residential alcohol and substance abuse treatment services. What began in 1972 as a humble idea has grown into a premier human services organization with over 200 treatment beds. We are a California Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) licensed, nonprofit residential substance abuse treatment program with facilities in two Northern California counties (Santa Clara and San Mateo). Through the years, Project Ninety has treated more than 20,000 individuals suffering from the disease of addiction. Project Ninety’s services are designed to treat the diverse communities in which we live. We provide services to adult men and women whose circumstances are varied. They might be homeless, highly educated/skilled, and straight from prison or jail, unemployable or have limited language skills. All these people have an addiction to substances in common, regardless of their socioeconomic standing, race, cultural background, education, age, or their life experience.

Description: Palm Avenue, a Social Model Detoxification Program, is a 15-bed facility serving men and women in San Mateo County who have a co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Our first residential treatment house. Laurel House was opened in 1974 and was one of the first residential treatment programs for women in California. Description: The Perinatal Addiction Outreach Team (PAOT) is a home visiting team of social workers and community workers providing a comprehensive range of case management services, education on child development, parenting, and chemical dependency, developmental screenings, advocacy and supportive counseling to pregnant and/or parenting women identified to be at risk for substance use. PAOT works with clients at any point along the continuum from denial through treatment and recovery. The Prenatal-to-Three Program is a collaboration of agencies and individuals working to provide information, support, and care for families of pregnant women and children to age five who receive Medi-Cal services in San Mateo County. Pre to 3 has three goals: Building parenting skills and confidence; Facilitating early identification and treatment of potential problems; Improving access to the health care system
