First Chance Outpatient provides substance abuse treatment for non-violent simple drug possession offenders. Participants learn about anger management, domestic violence, mental health, parenting, and receive case management, individual and group counseling, follow-up support, and referrals to other resources. Referrals for this program are through the court system; for more information, call 650-595-8165. First Chance Sobering Station is a 24-hour program that serves as an alternative to jail for persons arrested for driving under the influence or public intoxication. Starvista - Womens Enrichment Center Location: San Carlos, CA - 94070 Contact Phone: (650) 591-3636 Website: http://www.star-vista.org/ Description: Our Women’s Enrichment Center is an intensive day treatment program for women dealing with both substance abuse and mental health issues. We are a caring group of trained professionals experienced in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Our program is designed to address the unique needs of women in recovery, integrating treatment for substance use and mental health issues because they often occur together and impact each other. Treatment hours are Mondays to Fridays 10:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. Individual therapy is provided at either 9:15 a.m. or 2:15 p.m. It takes at least 3 months to complete the program, which is free of charge for Medi-Cal patients. |
