Clearlake Clinic Lake County Alcohol And Other Drug Services Location: Clearlake, CA - 95422 Contact Phone: (707) 994-6494 Website: http://lcmh.lakecountyca.gov/ Description: Behavioral Health provides integrated recovery-oriented mental health and alcohol and other drug services in clinic locations. We also operate and support several wellness centers to meet the needs of unserved and underserved populations. Alcohol and drug abuse diversion and treatment services are available at the clinics and through contracts with local provider agencies. Services include individual and group counseling, and trauma-informed treatment services for adults and youth. We also provide referrals to detoxification or residential treatment center. Fees for treatment services are based on a sliding scale. Medi-Cal is accepted. Substance abuse prevention services are provided to the community free of charge. Using a community cooperation approach, we provide alcohol/drug free alternative activities for youth including support for Friday Night Live/Club Live peer leadership and classroom activities. Substance Abuse prevention information is provided to the community utilizing media, brochures, presentations and problem identification for employers and employee assistance programs, and school based prevention programs. Mental Health services are designed to provide strong community-based partnerships with individuals and families who are dealing with serious mental illness, including those who have co-occurring (mental health and substances abuse) disorders. Recovery-oriented services include assistance with establishing stable housing, access to physical health care, medications management, trauma-informed counseling and peer supports. Behavioral Health assists with management of mental health crises for all members of the community and provides for inpatient or temporary residential care as appropriate. |

In addition to the funding received from the Divisions of Alcohol and Other Drug Services in Lake County, New Beginning’s has contracts with many organizations including the Lake County 1st 5 Commission. New Beginnings' is a catalyst for transformation for women, children and youth in recovery. New Beginnings’ mission is to provide an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard with the belief that respect and encouragement can be the catalyst necessary for transformation. We aid in altering these patterns thought a Holistic approach, to the healing of human beings. Funding is provided by labor exchange. Your attorney, probation officer, or parole officer must refer incarcerated individuals to the program as an alternative to incarceration. The treatment model employed at Transition Place Community has been demonstrated to be highly effective, particularly for individuals who have not found success with programs based on a 12-step approach.
