Children Family/comm Services Division Location: Campbell, CA - 95008 Contact Phone: (408) 299-2304 Website: http://www.sccgov.org/sites/dads/ Description: The Department of Alcohol & Drug Services’ (DADS) Children, Family, and Community Services Division, along with a network of contracted providers, offer free adolescent substance abuse treatment at sites throughout Santa Clara County. Services are confidential and available to youth and young adults 12-21. Our mission is to develop and operate a seamless Continuum of Care for the prevention, early intervention and treatment of substance abuse problems in the youth community that is appropriate for the diverse populations of Santa Clara County. DADS Youth System of Care (YSOC) offers confidential alcohol and drug outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and residential services and aftercare services for youth and young adults up to age 21. Treatment services are provided throughout Santa Clara County at schools, clinics, community agencies and Juvenile Hall. Staff have bilingual/bicultural capabilities. The therapists specialize in working with youth, young adults, and families that are struggling with substance use and mental health issues. All services are provided by licensed and pre-licensed therapists, many of who are bilingual/bicultural, at no cost or low cost. Frequency of sessions is based on the needs of the youth, their level of use of substances, and willingness to change and commitment to recovery. |

It is within this tranquil environment that is nestled in the Redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains that we provide these individuals with the opportunity to participate in our highly structured and successful drug and alcohol rehab program. Patients in our intensive outpatient drug rehab program meet three times a week for a total of eight weeks to participate in education groups, group therapy, individual counseling, and other activities. We will also introduce you to 12-Step Recovery Groups. To learn how to cope with drug cravings and triggers, you will also receive relapse prevention and continuing care plans. |

For those who require slightly less structure than a "live in" program, Day Treatment may be the appropriate level of care. Clients attend groups during the day, following a schedule similar to that of our residential clients. Day Treatment clients, however, return home at the end of the day. This treatment modality provides structure and support while helping the client begin integrating back into daily life. A highly skilled team consisting of professional substance abuse counselors and clinicians staff our day treatment program. In addition, we can also provide day treatment at one of our facilities combined with sober living. In this case, the client would attend treatment groups during the day and go home to one of our sober living environments. At our sober living homes, residents safely experience the transition from higher levels of care back into the community and day-to-day life with a group of individuals doing the same. Homes are supervised by a house manager and assistant who ensure that the homes offer structure and strong peer support. Support Systems Homes offers a flexible Outpatient Program for clients who are seeking effective treatment for addictions. Our state-certified and CARF - accredited Outpatient Program is designed for clients who do not require – or who have completed – Detoxification, Residential Treatment or Day Treatment. Our Outpatient groups are offered throughout the week in convenient locations, making this level of care an excellent choice for those who work. We also offer weekly family groups, which provide education and support to the loved ones of clients in treatment. Outpatient Treatment gives the individual an opportunity to interact in a real world environment while benefiting from a peer-oriented, structured therapeutic program. Client progress is assessed regularly by clinical staff, who develop individualized treatment plans with each client. Safe, supportive living in our sober living homes is highly recommended during the outpatient treatment process. Graduates from our Outpatient program are welcome in our Aftercare groups and Alumni Association. These groups help provide ongoing recovery support. |
