SCADP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing more than 500 residential treatment beds and outpatient counseling to over 1,500 individuals. Heritage House Village (Cottages) is a 6-9 month transitional housing project for women with children exiting substance abuse treatment. Heritage House Village was established in 2001 with Proposition 10 tobacco tax monies funded through the Orange County Children and Families Commission. This program provides transitional housing and supportive services to children ages five and under and their mothers recovering from substance abuse. Participants are graduates of SCADP’s Heritage House or Heritage House North programs in Orange County. The Village provides needs assessment, case management with service linkage and transportation, individual and group counseling, 12 Step support groups, as well as educational/vocational assistance and discharge planning for transition to safe, permanent housing.

Description: Hope House’s mission is to provide Orange County adults with supportive, comprehensive, treatment for chemical dependency. Hope House is a private, nonprofit, inpatient program for adults with substance abuse problems. We have been treating adults for more than 20 years, providing long-term treatment. Hope House addresses the behaviors and the emotions behind addiction. Clients learn a variety of tools to help them control behaviors from within themselves instead of relying on others. The Fireside Meeting is a 12 step meeting that has been taking place at Oasis for over 20 years and many long time alumni still attend. This sets a great example and outstanding encouragement for those in early recovery.
