Heritage House North provides Substance Use Disorder residential treatment services, life skills, and parenting education for women and their children in Orange County. The program operates in a residential treatment setting providing stability for families and is one of two residential facilities in the county that allows pregnant mother and their children to reside together while receiving Substance Use Disorder treatment. |

SCADP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing more than 500 residential treatment beds and outpatient counseling to over 1,500 individuals. Heritage House Village (Cottages) is a 6-9 month transitional housing project for women with children exiting substance abuse treatment. Heritage House Village was established in 2001 with Proposition 10 tobacco tax monies funded through the Orange County Children and Families Commission. This program provides transitional housing and supportive services to children ages five and under and their mothers recovering from substance abuse. Participants are graduates of SCADP’s Heritage House or Heritage House North programs in Orange County. The Village provides needs assessment, case management with service linkage and transportation, individual and group counseling, 12 Step support groups, as well as educational/vocational assistance and discharge planning for transition to safe, permanent housing. |

Hope House is a private, nonprofit, inpatient program for adults with substance abuse problems. We have been treating adults for more than 20 years, providing long-term treatment. Hope House addresses the behaviors and the emotions behind addiction. Clients learn a variety of tools to help them control behaviors from within themselves instead of relying on others. The program’s primary focus is to have clients work through the resident hierarchy. Clients must respect authority, take on responsibilities, and work with fellow clients in a team environment. Clients develop impulse control, learn how to delay gratification and acquire other life skills necessary for successful reentry into the community. Treatment includes individual therapy, group therapy and education about addiction. Clients discover the values, beliefs, and feelings that contribute to their addictive behavior. |

Oasis offers a comprehensive sober living program with strong accountability and peer support. Required attendance at 12 step recovery meetings at the Oasis Treatment Center is part of the program. The Fireside Meeting is a 12 step meeting that has been taking place at Oasis for over 20 years and many long time alumni still attend. This sets a great example and outstanding encouragement for those in early recovery. |
