Mission statement: Our primary responsibility is to provide substance abuse treatment for those who lack insurance coverage or other financial resources necessary to obtain treatment through the private sector. |

Intensive Outpatient Unit Lighthouse Counseling Center Inc Location: Montgomery, AL - 36109 Contact Phone: (334) 286-5980 Website: http://www.lighthousehelp.com Description: Founded in 1971, the Lighthouse Counseling Center was established as a gap agency to provide services to youth and adolescents who were experiencing substance abuse and other related problems. Today, the Lighthouse is a fully operational agency offering a wider array of services. Intensive outpatient services (IOP) are available to adults at various times throughout the day. In addition, specialty services are offered to, women who are pregnant or have dependent children, and those with a co-occurring disorder (those who have both a mental illness and a co-occurring substance abuse disorder). The New Life Program is provided for inmates at the Montgomery County Detention Facility where group conseling is conducted for those with a substance abuse/dependency diagnosis. |

CMG operates as outpatient clinics specifically designed for persons addicted to the opioid class of drugs, including prescription pain medications and heroin. Patients are enrolled into a comprehensive program, which includes individual and group counseling to address psychological and social needs in addition to their chemical dependence.
