Details: Assist is comprised of Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient programs which are designed to intervene with substance abusing and chemically dependent adolescents, ages 12 to 18, whose alcohol and other drug problems can be managed in an outpatient setting. These programs make it possible for many youth to receive the services they need while remaining in their home and community. The Assist program provides individual, group, and family counseling and psychological services. Upon completion of primary treatment, weekly continuing care is provided to support clients in their recovery efforts. The Assist program is linked to community resources through referral and case coordination with other agencies.
