Twin Town offers Adult and Adolescent Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Treatment at our six locations: Mission Viejo, West Hollywood, Orange, North Hollywood, Los Alamitos, Torrance. Many residential and inpatient programs refer to Twin Town for continuity of care and aftercare services. Twin Town provides alcoholism and drug addiction treatment for adults and adolescents in separate programs. The alcoholism and drug addiction treatment program emphasizes abstinence, relapse prevention, disease model education, family codependency counseling, problem solving skills, stress management, and family communication skills. Description: Located in North Hollywood in the San Fernando Valley, the George T. Pfleger Center is a four story complex containing forty dorm-style rooms, each comfortably accommodating three individuals. Each floor has private elevator access. The Pfleger Center includes a large dining area, house meeting room, recreation and entertainment rooms, classrooms, computer lab, literacy library, group therapy rooms, full gym, and meditation tower. The outdoor area includes a large covered patio, basketball/volleyball court and a running track. The George T. Pfleger Center also houses a 15-bed Residential Detoxification unit overseen by a Licensed Vocational Nurse and 24-hour staff supervision.

Description: Cri-Help’s outpatient and day treatment programs are designed for those individuals who need a structured recovery program for substance abuse but do not require 24-hour supervision. Outpatient treatment programs are available at the George T. Pfleger Center located in North Hollywood and at Socorro in the Lincoln Heights area of East Los Angeles. Traditional and intensive outpatient treatment consists of structured group and individual counseling and thorough 12-step integration. Therapeutic therapies address the neurobiology of addiction, relapse prevention, anger management as well as gender-specific recovery issues. Outpatient treatment is available as part of a plan, or as an independent service. Both traditional and intensive levels are designed with client-centered case management, assuring the client’s full collaborative input into treatment planning, implementation and monitoring. Each client’s time commitment ranges from five to nine hours per week, most of which is scheduled during evenings and weekends to allow for work schedules and family considerations. Outpatient services which address co-occurring disorders and cross-addictions, including nicotine, are available. To consider the family dynamics of addiction, clients are encouraged to involve family members in appropriate groups. Twelve-step meeting participation is an integrated part of all treatment activities. Discharge planning includes referrals to allied health professionals and community resources. The Outpatient Program is available through many insurance/managed care organizations.
